What's a DIY Design Plan?
Home Hearted does all the planning and you get to execute the work. This option is perfect for families who need design direction but want to actually DO the project themselves. These plans are also more economically friendly than the Full-Service Design Plans.
A true DIY spirit is needed for clients who want to successfully complete their project!

DIY Design Pricing:
Flat design fees starting at $1000 (Ex. single bedroom, new paint, all new furnishings, window coverings, shelving, new light fixture)
Only available for jobs estimated over $5,000 (TOTAL cost of construction/furniture/materials)
Cost of furnishings, fixtures, and contracted labor are separate.
DIY plans are recommended for small projects, paint/finish selection help, or space planning/modeling. Projects that involve more than 2 rooms, heavy construction, and long timelines are NOT recommended for the DIY plan.
The DIY plan includes:
Initial home visit & design proposal presentation
DIY design creation & presentation including detailed list of fixture, finishes, and furnishings, sketches/2D models/3D models (if needed), a basic project budget, light construction guide, styling guides.
1 round of revisions
All documents, lists, spreadsheets, & links will be shared at the end of the DIY plan presentation
